Hey there hikers,

Been a while. Hope all is well with you and the family. It's been a wild start to the year hasn't it? Feels like we just started the year yet here we are already wrapping up the first quarter. It's March and as the snow finally begins to melt I find myself looking towards the Spring. The dooryard is a mud pit and even though we'll likely get another storm or two before true spring hits, I'm already thinking about nights by the bonfire.

Our friend Nomar Slevik has released a new book, In The Pines, which is sure to leave you questioning every sound you hear in the dark places between the trees. The book is a collection of true stories of mystery, mayhem and monsters from Maine and features a forward written by yours truly. Nomar also has a new podcast out now and based on the first few episodes I can say that I am very much enjoying what he's cooking up.

It looks like the International Cryptozoology museum is set to open in their new location at the beginning of April. That's good news for us mid coast Mainers and I'm excited to see all the hard work those folks have done pay off.

As far as Acadia After Dark goes I have been trying some new short content you have probably seen on our social media and YouTube, covering everything from missing people to local legends and more. I'll be continuing those while I put the finishing touches on the new anthology but audio listeners I haven't forgotten about you and I plan on having some new things for you asap.

I have set up a new contact form for everyone to provide feedback, ask questions and share stories and we will putting out a call for guests on our socials very soon. We're hoping to connect with more of our local community this year and part of that is going to involve platforming spooky artists and creators. If you're interested in coming on the show or otherwise working together shoot me a message on socials or fill out our form and I'll get back to you.

Hope y'all have a fantastic Spring. Keep those lanterns lit and stay safe out there.
